Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced plans to introduce new direct flights between Singapore and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting in June 2026. The airline will operate these flights four times a week, offering a convenient schedule for travelers. The aircraft used for this route will be the medium-haul version of the Airbus A350-900, a modern, fuel-efficient wide-body jet designed for long-distance travel.

Singapore Airlines will begin non-stop flights from Singapore to Riyadh in June 2026.
This aircraft will feature a two-class cabin configuration with 303 seats: 40 in Business Class for enhanced comfort and amenities, and 263 in Economy Class to accommodate more travelers on each flight. This new service aims to strengthen connectivity between Singapore and Saudi Arabia, serving both business and leisure travelers with increased frequency and modern aircraft.
Subject to regulatory approvals, flight SQ498 will leave Singapore for Riyadh on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1820hrs (local time). The return flight, SQ499, will depart Riyadh for Singapore at 2300hrs (local time) on the same day.
Mr. Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Commercial Officer at Singapore Airlines, said: “Our return to Riyadh comes amid its thriving business environment and ambitious development, making it one of the Middle East’s most dynamic cities. Beyond a new destination, this service could allow us to work with our partners to offer our customers additional travel options across the region.”
