Norwegian Cruise Line is expanding its footprint in Asia with a series of 2026 sailings that highlight the region’s most sought-after destinations—including several ports in the Philippines. The new itineraries form part of the cruise line’s growing Southeast Asia program, bringing travelers to tropical islands, historic coastal cities, and cultural hubs across the region.

Among the standout voyages is a December sailing that threads together Hong Kong, the Philippines, and several Southeast Asian countries, offering travelers an immersive journey through some of Asia’s most diverse destinations.

December 9, 2026: Hong Kong to Singapore Voyage

One of the most anticipated itineraries departs December 9, 2026, sailing from Hong Kong aboard the Norwegian Jade. The 14-night cruise journeys through the Philippines, then continues to Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, and Thailand, concluding in Singapore.

Highlights of the itinerary

December 9 — Hong Kong (Departure)
The voyage begins in Hong Kong, a dynamic gateway city known for its skyline, harbor views, and vibrant culinary scene.

December 11 — Coron, Palawan
The ship’s first Philippine stop is Coron, famed for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear lagoons, and world-class snorkeling and diving sites.

December 12 — Boracay
Guests then visit Boracay, home to powder-soft white sand beaches and lively beachside restaurants and bars.

December 13 — Puerto Princesa
Next is Puerto Princesa, the gateway to the UNESCO-listed underground river and a hub for eco-tourism adventures.

The itinerary continues across Southeast Asia with stops in:

  • Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
  • Muara, Brunei
  • Phu My
  • Laem Chabang
  • Ko Samui

The cruise concludes in Singapore after two weeks of island landscapes, bustling cities, and cultural discoveries.

Other Asia Cruises in Early 2026

Norwegian Cruise Line is also offering additional Asia itineraries earlier in 2026, giving travelers multiple ways to explore the region.

February 10, 2026: Singapore to Taiwan

A 14-night cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun departs Singapore and sails north through Southeast Asia toward Keelung. The itinerary features a mix of urban and tropical destinations across the region, highlighting Asia’s diverse cultures and coastal landscapes.

February 24, 2026: Taiwan to Singapore

Another 14-night sailing departs Keelung and travels south toward Singapore, including stops in several Southeast Asian destinations and the Philippines. The itinerary once again features Coron and Puerto Princesa, offering passengers the opportunity to explore Palawan’s iconic natural attractions.

December 23, 2026: Singapore to Hong Kong

Following the December 9 voyage, Norwegian Jade is scheduled for another regional cruise departing December 23, 2026, from Singapore. This 11-night itinerary sails northward to Hong Kong with stops at:

  • Ko Samui, Thailand
  • Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand
  • Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam
  • Da Nang
  • Ha Long Bay

The sailing offers a scenic journey through the Gulf of Thailand and along Vietnam’s coastline, then returns to Hong Kong.

Spotlight on the Philippines

The inclusion of Coron, Boracay, and Puerto Princesa places the Philippines firmly within Norwegian Cruise Line’s Southeast Asia program. These destinations are known for their dramatic karst landscapes, vibrant marine ecosystems, and welcoming island culture.

For travelers seeking a mix of beach escapes, cultural exploration, and regional discovery, the Philippines stops provide a memorable centerpiece to the broader Southeast Asia voyage.

As cruise travel in Asia continues to grow, Norwegian Cruise Line’s 2026 itineraries highlight the region’s rising appeal—connecting iconic cities and island destinations across one of the world’s most diverse cruising landscapes.
